Serck Motorsport has an experienced engineering team who carry out designs for new applications or assess existing designs and offer improvement options. These services are a part of the more expansive design capability within the Serck Heat Exchange Division which also handles thermal design of heat transfer products ranging from Nuclear Submarines to Power Stations.
All thermal design is carried out using our own in-house developed software and data acquired over a period of more than 100 years, going back as far as the honeycomb radiator core invented by Oscar Serck at the start of the last century. Our design team uses Solid Edge 3D modelling and ComsolMultiphysics FEA and CFD software to produce the final designs which are then manufactured using state of the art processes.
Our CAD software can interface with the majority of the packages in use in the automotive industry today and we have experience of interchanging information via “portals” with a number of major performance car manufacturers. We also have access to wind tunnel, endurance hot pressure pulse and shaker table testing capabilities.
